Terms of Service

bangShoot is a social media platform designed exclusively for the global film industry. It connects filmmakers, crew members, suppliers, studios, and creatives worldwide. We offer FilmPro memberships (paid subscription) for individual creatives and companies.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on bangShoot. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are eligible to participate in the film industry community.

FilmPro membership is subject to an application and vetting process. Acceptance is at bangShoot's sole discretion and is not guaranteed.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@bangshoot.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not create multiple accounts, impersonate another person, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their consent.

FilmPro memberships are billed on a recurring monthly subscription basis. Current membership pricing is displayed at the time of sign-up and may be updated with reasonable notice.

Payment Processing: Payments for FilmPro memberships are processed by Freemius, acting as bangShoot's Merchant of Record. Freemius is responsible for processing payments, billing, applicable taxes and payment-related transactions associated with your purchase. Freemius may therefore appear as the merchant or seller on your payment confirmation, receipt, invoice or bank/card statement.

By purchasing a FilmPro membership, you acknowledge that your payment transaction is processed through Freemius and that Freemius's applicable terms and refund policies may also apply to the transaction.

Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the next renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your bangShoot account settings or through the subscription management options provided by Freemius.

Upon cancellation, your FilmPro access will remain active until the end of the current paid billing period, after which your FilmPro membership access will end.

Refund Policy: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. bangShoot does not ordinarily issue refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused subscription time or a decision to stop using the service during a paid billing period.

However, refund requests may be considered in exceptional circumstances and will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the applicable Freemius refund terms and policies.

For payment-related questions or refund enquiries, members may contact bangShoot at support@bangshoot.com or use the subscription and payment support options provided by Freemius.

bangShoot reserves the right to suspend or terminate a FilmPro membership for breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law. Suspension or termination does not automatically entitle a member to a refund.

Founding Member pricing, where offered, is locked for the duration of continuous active membership. If a Founding Member cancels their membership, the locked Founding Member pricing will no longer apply if they subsequently rejoin, unless bangShoot expressly states otherwise.

You retain ownership of all content you post on bangShoot. By uploading content, you grant bangShoot a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform.

You are solely responsible for the content you share. You must not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing on intellectual property rights, or otherwise harmful to other users or the community.

bangShoot may remove any content that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines, without prior notice.

Users must not:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other members
• Post spam, misleading information, or fake profiles
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the platform without written consent
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation without prior approval
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or other users' accounts
• Post content that violates any applicable law or regulation

Users are encouraged to use the in-app Report and Block tools to manage unwanted interactions. Reporting a user submits a case to our moderation team for review. Blocking a user restricts their ability to interact with your content and profile.

The bangShoot name, logo, branding, and platform design are the intellectual property of bangShoot and may not be reproduced or used without express written permission.

Your use of bangShoot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the platform, you consent to the data practices described therein.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or if we determine your presence is harmful to the community.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@bangshoot.com.

bangShoot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the platform will be error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, bangShoot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which bangShoot is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of bangShoot following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
