bangShoot is built for the global film industry — a professional, creative, and inclusive space where filmmakers, crew, studios and creatives come together. These guidelines exist to keep bangShoot a trusted, respectful and inspiring community for everyone.
Only create an account as yourself or your legitimate company. Impersonating individuals, brands or organisations is strictly prohibited.
Profile information — including your name, role, and credentials — must be accurate and genuine. False or misleading profiles will be removed.
Treat every member of the bangShoot community with respect, regardless of their role, experience level, location, gender, ethnicity, religion, or background.
Harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, or any form of targeted abuse will result in immediate account suspension or permanent removal.
Constructive critique is welcome. Personal attacks are not.
bangShoot is a professional network for the film and media industry. Content should relate to filmmaking, production, creative work, industry news, or professional development.
Spam, off-topic promotional content, or irrelevant material will be removed.
Only share content you have the right to post. This includes images, videos, audio, and written material.
Always credit collaborators, crew members, and other creatives whose work appears in your posts.
Do not reproduce or distribute copyrighted material without proper authorisation.

Do not use bangShoot to spam other users with unsolicited commercial messages, excessive self-promotion, or repetitive content.
Genuine promotion of your work, projects, and services is welcome — but it should add value to the community, not clutter it.
bangShoot is a closed professional network for the global film industry. Sharing, exporting, screenshotting, or distributing posts, media, or other members' content to external social media platforms or third-party services is not permitted.
This policy exists to protect the privacy, intellectual property, and confidentiality of our members' work and industry content — including unreleased projects, behind-the-scenes material, and content bound by NDAs.
If you wish to reference or credit another member's work outside of bangShoot, please contact them directly for written permission first. Unauthorised external distribution of content posted on bangShoot may result in account suspension or permanent removal.
Do not share private or personal information about others without their consent — including contact details, location, or confidential project information.
Respect NDAs and the confidential nature of productions and commercial projects.
If you see content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, please use the in-app Report feature available on any post or user profile, or contact us at support@bangshoot.com.
You may also Block any user at any time via their profile. Blocking prevents that user from viewing your profile or interacting with your content, and removes them from your feed. Blocks can be removed at any time from your Settings.
All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, enforcement actions may include:
Serious violations — including harassment, hate speech, illegal activity, or repeated breaches — may result in immediate permanent removal without warning.
We reserve the right to remove any content or account that we determine, at our sole discretion, violates the spirit of these guidelines or the bangShoot community.
bangShoot supports safe sets, fair pay, and ethical production practices. Content or conduct that actively promotes or normalises exploitation, unsafe working conditions, or industry misconduct is not welcome on this platform.
